TÜV CERT, the certification agency of RWTÜV Anlagentechnik GmbH, has certified using the TÜV CERT method that the HELLENIC VEHICLE INDUSTRY S.A. has put in place and is applying for its power section a quality management system for the "Design, development, production and supply of various types of vehicles and special constructions for military and civilian use and of spare parts for them, and after-sales customer support."
An additional inspection (report no. 2.5-1925/2001) showed that the requirements of the ISO 9001:2000/EN ISO 9001:2000 international standard had been met.
This quality control applies to military vehicles under the AQAP100 series of Government-guaranteed quality assurance procedures.
